New Delhi: Superstar Salman Khan has a history of coming to aid of co-actors with whom he shares an amiable bond. He has helped stars to get movies in the past to revive their sinking career. Now, it is being said that the superstar is doing that again with co-actor Randeep Hooda.
Grapevine is abuzz that Salman insisted on increasing the screen space of Randeep in his upcoming movie ‘Sultan’.
Hooda, in the wrestling based movie, essays the role of Salman’s coach.
Now, of late Randeep’s movies were not minting gold at the box office. Randeep won critical acclaim for ‘Sarbjit’ but the box office collections of the movie weren’t that great. His last romantic flick, ‘Do Lafzon Ki Kahani’ neither impressed critics nor earned money.
So reportedly Salman thought it would be nice to increase his screen time.
“They became good friends after working in Kick. Randeep is spotted at all important functions of the Khan family. So, for Sultan, when the makers were looking for an actor to play a bit role as his coach, Salman suggested Randeep’s name. Recently, when he got to know that Randeep’s role has been trimmed in the post-production stage, he was quick to make necessary calls for it to be extended to a respectable point,”
a source was quoted by a leading daily.

“Even though he is doing a cameo, some of his portions were edited out so that the film doesn’t become unnecessarily long. But Salman asked the makers to retain most of his scenes and they have agreed to his proposal,”
the source added.
Well, Salman is known to help people. If this report is true, then Randeep Hooda just elevated himself to be one of Bhaijaan’s favourite.
