New Delhi: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has been a heartthrob of millions and enjoys a huge fan following.
His fans often go crazy every time Salman’s movie hits the theatres. It is evident from the magnificent collections his movies do at the box office.
Salman’s latest release ‘Sultan’ is also doing wonders post release. While the movie is creating several records at the box office, it is one of Salman’s fan who is making to the headlines, as well.
A man from Himachal Pradesh’s Hamirpur went on to book an entire theatre for ‘Sultan’ show, as a surprise for his wife, who is an ardent Salman fan.
According to the media reports, Shankar Musafir booked the entire 120-seat ARV Cinemas in Gurukul Mall a day before the release of ‘Sultan’. And the reason behind this was at the time of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ last year, he couldn’t get five tickets of the movie for his wife. So this time he thought to make it up for that.
“When Bajrangi Bhaijaan was released, Geetanjali asked me to get five tickets for the show. But I could not arrange it. Now, I decided to surprise her by booking the entire show,” Shankar reportedly told a leading daily.
His wife Geetanjali is, indeed, over the moon with Shankar’s romantic gesture.
“I am so happy. I don’t think anybody has given such a surprise to his wife in Hamirpur,” Geetanjali was quoted saying.
On the other hand, Amit Thakur, the managing director of the theatre was quite amazed with the incident.
Amit reportedly stated that Musafir booked the entire show and mentioned that he will come with 120 people. However, the entire team of the theatres was surprised when he came only with his wife.
The incident came into limelight, after Shankar shared the pics with his wife from the theatre.
‘Sultan’ also featuring Anushka Sharma in the lead role, is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and was released on Jul 6, 2016.
