New Delhi: Superstar Salman Khan’s ‘Sultan’ is on a record breaking spree and doesn’t seem to slow down any time soon. The movie, which hit the screens on July 06, has garnered a whopping Rs 180.36 crore on domestic box office till Sunday.
The film did a massive business of Rs 38.21 crore its first Sunday at the box office in India. Depicting the life of wrestler Sultan Ali Khan, the movie has already crossed the lifetime business of big Bollywood releases in just five days.

As the movie is all set to enter the Rs 200 crore club, Salman has paid gratitude towards his fans for making the movie a hit. The ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ star is elated that his admirers liked his stint as a wrestler in the flick.
He also posted about his performance at IIFA 2016 in the same tweet. Interestingly, ‘Sallu’ performed after a gap of four years at International Indian Film Academy awards.
Sultan, which also stars Anushka Sharma in the role of a wrestler, is about a man who finds his metier rather late in life, propelled by his love for a female wrestler.
