New Delhi: Superstar Salman Khan’s ‘Sultan’ is creating new records ever since its release. The movie did a remarkable business on its first day and went on to earn Rs 36.54 crores.
But apart from the stunning performance, the movie is making the headlines for a not so good reason.
According to the recent buzz, a cheating case has been filed against Salman Khan, Anushka Sharma, producer Yash Raj Films and director Ali Abbas by Sabeer Ansari at CJM court in Muzaffarpur, Bihar.
Reportedly, Sabeer has claimed that ‘Sultan’ is entirely based on him. In his petition, he has also stated that Salman Khan had promised to pay him Rs 20 crore, but has failed to do so.
Ansari has mentioned that the ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ actor had reportedly contacted him for ‘Sultan’. However, he was later informed that the movie has been shelved.
According to the media reports, post the release of ‘Sultan’, Sabeer felt cheated and went on to register a cheating case against the makers and the cast of the movie .
While the court has scheduled the hearing of the case on July 12, we wonder what Salman Khan and the makers of ‘Sultan’ has to say about this.
