Superstar Shah Rukh Khan ranked second on the Forbes list of Indian celebrities, defeated by his close friend Salman Khan for the top slot. Though, the news was disappointing for King Khan’s fans, but did you notice that the SRK’s last two projects ‘Dilwale’ and ‘Fan’ were not successful, but still he managed to grab the top slot.

The Forbes list was made keeping in mind the actor’s work between October 1, 2015 to September 30, 2016. During this time, the star had two major releases that didn’t do well, Rohit Shetty directorial ‘Dilwale’ and Maneesh Sharma’s Fan. But, SRK did wonder when he appeared in cameo roles in ‘Dear Zindagi’ and ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’.
In Karan Johar’s directorial ‘ADHM’, Shah Rukh stole the show from Ranbir when he delivered the famous dialogue ‘Ek Tarfa Pyar..’
Whereas, in Gauri Shinde’s second film, SRK supported Alia very well. Though, the catress played the protagonist in ‘Dear Zindagi’ but it was difficult for people to get their eyes off the superstar.
Salman who topped the list, gave two blockbusters ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ and ‘Sultan’ which entered the 100 crore club.
