New Delhi: Of late, superstar Salman Khan’s marriage rumours with Romanian model and TV presenter Iulia Vantur have been going strong. Many said that on his 51st birthday this year on 27th December, Salman will finally do away with his most-eligible bachelor tag.
Dismissing all these reports, Salman gave a heartfelt conversation to a leading daily in which he said that if marriage happens, he won’t ever hide the joyful news.
“I would announce it myself, it would be a proud moment for me, thode hi main chup rahoonga like those yesteryear stars who hid their wives thinking that it would lessen their fan following. I know the whole country would be happy for me,” he said.
Fuel was added to the wedding after Iulia was seen attending actress Preity Zinta’s wedding reception with Salman. To this Salman asked to look closely if she was with him or his sister Aliva Agnihotri.
"Was I with her or was she with my sister (Alvira)?" he asked, adding with a twinkle, "I ran away in front. I don't want to keep the press so busy. My private life may be national news but it's not that important."

The most eligible bachelor of Bollywood Salman, also admitted that he has always wanted to get married. However, he has kept that thought away because he feels he was the troublemaker.
“But it takes two to make a marriage, one difficult partner and the other easy-tolive-with. So, who's the difficult one? ‘I am.’ I'm never home, I'm always surrounded by people, always working. If it's not a movie, it's an ad or Bigg Boss. Now there are big plans for my charity Being Human too. Along with movies and the clothing line, we will now venture into restaurants, jewellery and the digital platform. Where's the time?”
Doesn’t Salman miss a family when he sees his contemporaries having one? To this he said,
“If it has to happen, it will. It might just happen one night, I'll wake up in the morning to the thought, 'Ho gayi hai, ab jhelo isse’.”

Salman admitted that he has affection towards kids and would love to have one of his own.
“Yes, I'd like to have a child but the problem with that is with the child the mother comes along. If I can avoid the mother and have a child I wouldn't mind two or three. Tell me, if there's a solution,”
Salman said.
When ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ was asked why he thinks it is difficult to keep up with women, knowing that many lovely women would feel happy with him. To this Salman’s reply was,
“That's the problem, there are lots of lovely women around. Hey, I'm just kidding, life is beautiful and I would be happy if marriage happened. And if it doesn't...”
Salman said that he has not given enough thought to adopting a child also adding that it has nothing to do with his age.
“I'm 50, but trust me; it's not too old for a man, not in India at least.”
He made sure to put all rumours to bed about his December wedding.
“Some are saying October, some are saying December. Marriage will happen if it has to. There's too much else to think about,”
said Salman and had the last word.
