New Delhi: Bollywood star Ajay Devgn is coming back with the sequel of his 2012 hit movie ‘Son of Sardaar’. But this time the audiences are in for a real surprise.

As per reports, superstar Salman Khan might play the central role of a ‘Sardar’ in the to-be-produced movie.

The report on SpotboyE states that Ajay Devgn is in talks with Salman Khan and has asked him if he would like to play the Sardar’s role. A source says,

“It will be a huge thing if Salman plays the central role now, but Devgn and Salman have definitely spoken about this very seriously.”

Interestingly, Salman was in the first installment of ‘Son of Sardaar’ as well. He did a cameo role of Ajay Devgn’s best friend in the movie.

Ajay Devgn’s portrayal of ‘Sardaar’ was thoroughly loved by the audience in first part but it seems he will don the director’s hat this time.

Last year, he had announced the sequel on his twitter account saying,

“Sorry yaar, duniya bekar bina Son of Sardaar! Get ready for the sequel releasing Diwali 2017.”

Salman, who is currently busy with ‘Sultan’ promotions, doesn’t have any movie in pipeline. So it is most likely that ‘bhai’ will agree to turn ‘Sardaar’ for Ajay Devgn.

It will be interesting to see how well Salman fares as 'Sardar'
