Looks like going shirtless for the camera flows in the genes of Khan-daan. We all have seen how the Khan Brothers, Salman, Arbaaz and Sohail have taken their shirt off to flaunt their chiselled body. Seems they inherited this trait from father Salim Khan.

A short while ago, Salman took to micro-blogging website Twitter to share two unrecognisable pictures of father Salim Khan. The occasion, you ask. Well, it is the 81st birthday of the popular screenwriter.

So, Salim’s eldest son shared two black and white vintage pictures of him. One showed a shirtless Salim playing with a dog.

Here is Salman’s birthday tweet for his father.

The bond that Salman shares with Salim is not hidden from anyone. The legenadry writer has been a constant support in Salman’s life. There have been a number of incidents in the past where he jumped in to rescue his son from controversies he would land in.

In fact, the 50-year old superstar had once admitted that despite his stardom, the sole decision maker of the household is Salim Khan only. He had revealed that even now he and his brothers take Salim’s permission for almost every thing in their lives.

Salim enjoyed a splendid journey in Bollywood as a writer. He was a part of the famous duo Salim-Javed (Javed stood for Javed Akhtar) and penned stories for many blockbuster movies of Bollywood. The duo has classic hits like ‘Sholay’, ‘Zanjeer’, ‘Kranti’, ‘Don’ to their credit. In 2014, Salim was awarded Lifetime Achievement Honour at Apsara Film & Television Producers Guild Award for his contribution to Indian cinema.
