Bollywood is a weird place to be as relationships change here at the drop of a hat. A recent incident is an example of this. Singer Abhijeet ranted against superstar Salman Khan after the latter spoke in favour of Pakistani artists. In his tweets, he asked Salman to show true patriotism to his nation.

Abhijeet has an impression of landing in many controversies from his Twitter timeline. Interestingly, it was through this same social networking site that the singer had once lent his support to Salman after the latter’s acquittal in the infamous 2002 hit-and-run case.

Back then, Abhijeet had said that footpath is not for people to sleep and if they do, they would die a dog’s death. His hate filled tweet withdrew a lot of flak.

In complete contradiction of his previous emotions for Salman, Abhijeet said the superstar is openly supporting terrorism. Read the series of tweets Abhijeet posted:

Abhijeet’s tweets also got few positive response from netizens:

Pak artistes have been at the receiving end of criticism after the Uri attacks that killed 19 Indian soldiers. Raj Thackrey led MNS called for a complete ban on Pakistani artistes. Commenting on the same, Salman had yesterday said that artistes are not terrorists.

Salman’s view on this matter also got him served a FIR in a Mumbai police station earlier today.

As of now, Bollywood seems divided on the ban of Pak artistes. While few like filmmaker Hansal Mehta are of the opinion that art should have no boundaries, actor Randeep Hooda said that the government’s effort of isolating Pakistan on global forum will not be achieved if Pakistanis get work in Hindi film industry.

Here is what Randeep tweeted:
