Amid the huge Baahubali 2 craze, Salman Khan fans are eagerly waiting for his upcoming film Tubelight. While experts have predicted that the movie can break the records of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, there is someone who has already seen the film and given his verdict.
The lucky person is none other than Salman’s father Salim Khan. The popular scriptwriter, who is known to be one of the toughest critics of his son’s films, is in total awe of Tubelight, particularly his son’s performance in the film.
According to a DNA report, Salim was quoted as saying, “Tubelight is a very nice film. I have seen it in its raw form — na uska background music tha, na uski mixing hui thi, so I hadn’t seen the finished product, but whatever I saw, was very good. I have seen many films of that genre and subject, main ek andaza kar sakta hoon finished product kya hoga and I can say ki bahut achchi film hai.”
Further, the doting father also talked about awards. When questioned if Salman’s performance in Tubelight will get him any awards, he said “In our house, we don’t hanker after awards. Iss ghar mein awards ka kuch importance nahi hai. Salman has done some very good work in Bajrangi Bhaijan and Sultan.
“Now, in Tubelight also he has performed well, but you can’t compare these three”, Salim Khan added.
Tubelight is one of the most awaited films of the year and marks the third collaboration of Salman and Kabir after Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Ek Tha Tiger. The teaser of the film was well received by the audience and people have already declared it a blockbuster. The film is scheduled to release on Eid.
