8 replies Salman Khan gave in court defending himself in Black Buck Case

Salman Khan appeared in the Jodhpur Rural court today to record his statements in relation to the infamous black buck case.

New Delhi: Superstar Salman Khan appeared in the Jodhpur Rural court today to record his statements in relation to the infamous black buck case. The actor was present as an accused under the Arms Act. He was accompanied by his sister Alvira.

Salman today defended himself and said that he was falsely implicated in the case.

Here is a list of eight questions which Salman was asked by Chief Judicial Magistrate Dalpat Singh Purohit and his answers to them:

Q: What is your father’s name, caste and address?

A: My father’s name in Salim Khan. (After a pause) I am an Indian.

Q: Do you know that the case was filed restrospectively?

A: I have no idea about it.

Q: Did you sign the letter which allowed Uday Raghavan (the witness who brought arms) to bring pistols from Salim Khan in Mumbai?

A: Yes I signed the document but under pressure.

Q: A hand-written letter by Uday Raghavan says that he brought pistols from Mumbai on your instructions. These are the same arms which he confiscated to the forest department.

A: I have no clue about it.

Q: Do you know about the arms recovered by the Forest Department?

A: No, I don’t.

Q: Witness Vijay Narayan said that weapons were acquired illegally. Is it true?

A: I have no idea what Vijay has told you or why.

Q: Why is everyone giving statements against you?

A: This is a conspiracy against me by Forest officer Lalit Boda and others. They planned this after a newspaper carried a news item about me. I am totally innocent in this case.

Q: Would you like to say anything in your defence?

A: I will present evidences about my innocence through my lawyers

 

On this note the court directed Salman’s attorneys to present the evidence on the next hearing on April 4.
