Salman Khan’s new still from Bharat is out; gear up for thunder, says Ali Abbas Zafar
Ever since Priyanka Chopra’s exit from Bharat, the film is making news for one or the other reason. A couple of days ago, the new leading lady of the film was announced by Ali Abbas Zafar and it was none other than Salman’s favourite Katrina Kaif. On Wednesday, the makers dropped a new still from the movie featuring Dabanng Khan. The picture is a story in continuation from the last still. It shows Salman Khan riding the bike ready to leap through the ring of fire. In the backdrop we can also see the name of the place which is ‘The Great Russian Circus’.

Hundreds of light bulbs are seen illuminating around him in the form of a ring. While the movie is titled Bharat, the plot will revolve around a Russian circus. The story will also span through decades, for which Salman Khan had to go through different looks including one from his iconic film Karan Arjun.
On Tuesday, some pictures of Salman Khan from Bharat sets leaked showing the actor donning a retro look. He’s wearing a white ganji with white pants and his hair was styled in a 70’s manner. The hair curl at his forehead resembled that of the iconic superman hairstyle.
In a media interaction, Ali Abbas Zafar revealed how they created a set to make it look like an authentic circus. He said, “The idea is to create an Indian-Russian circus-like Raj Kapoor’s Mera Naam Joker. Performers from all over the world are flying down for the circus tricks that will be a mix of trapeze hoops and rope stunts. This is Salman and Disha’s introduction in the movie. He plays a daredevil stunt motorcyclist while she’s a trapeze artist.”
Priyanka Chopra dropped out of the film allegedly due to her engagement to boyfriend Nick Jonas. However, reports are rife that the Hollywood icon must have left the film to sign a film opposite Chris Pratt, where she’s playing his love interest.
