After Tiger Zinda Hai, Salman Khan and Ali Abbas Zafar is all set to wow us with upcoming film Bharat. The film is reportedly going to hit the floors in June and will hit the screens in Eid, 2019. The human-drama is a remake of the 2014 South Korean film Ode To My Father. There are reports that Bhaijaan will sport at least five different looks for this film.
“It is a very different film from Tiger and Sultan. We are trying to do something new with it. It’s too early to talk about it,” director Ali Abbas Zafar was quoted as saying to PTI.
"With 'Tiger Zinda Hai' and 'Sultan' behind me, I'm more nervous for my next one because I know the expectations and anticipations will be really, really high”.
Ali believes working with Salman has added maturity to his craft as a filmmaker. “People tell me there’s a lot of maturity in my work now. May be that maturity has got to do because I’m working with Salman Khan who has so much experience. The text that I write kind of compliments (him) and he as a mature actor takes it to another level.”
Earlier, Ali revealed to a leading daily about Salman's look saying, "We have just locked the script. The idea is to make Salman look the way he appeared in Maine Pyar Kiya — from the time he began his career to now. But we will know how much we can achieve only after our complete research is done."
The story of Bharat will be set over a period spanning sixty years. Also, major historical events in the country will be shown in the movie.
