Superstar Salman Khan has started shooting for his upcoming film Bharat. Filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar has teased fans with a pic in which the actor is standing. However, his face is hidden. It goes without saying that this is indeed a great news for all Bhaijaan fans. Speculations were rife from quite some time that Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif are being considered to play the female lead in the movie. However, trade analyst Taran Adarsh has confirmed that PeeCee will be seen alongside the superstar.
Ali took to micro-blogging site Twitter and wrote, “And it begins “Bharat” @BeingSalmanKhan . A journey of a man and a nation together . Eid 2019.”
This is known to all that Salman has earlier worked with Ali in Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai. Both the movies did wonderful collection at the box office. Now, expectations are high from Bharat.
Priyanka Chopra, who will be working with Salman Khan after a decade, expressed her excitement on the new project. She told PTI, "I'm looking forward to begin shooting this film and working with Salman and Ali again after a considerable time. I've learnt a lot from them in our previous collaborations and am excited to see what this one has to offer."
The superstar was convicted in blackbuck poaching case and is out on a bail.
On a related note, Salman is also occupied with the work of his upcoming film Race 3. The movie is the third instalment of Race franchise and is directed by Remo D'Souza. It also features Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah, Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor in pivotal roles.
