After watching Salman Khan pull off a role as challenging as Sultan and his uber cool swag in Tiger Zinda Hai, get ready to witness a completely different side of Salman in his Eid 2019 release, Bharat where he will be seen having not one but 5 new transformations. The superstar will once again join forces with director Ali Abbas Zafar.
Ali Abbas Zafar, who will be directing this venture, made this surprising revelation in interaction with a leading daily today stating how Salman will be seen transforming from one look to another with the help of prosthetics and VFX, considering it spans over 70 years from the 1940s.
“Bharat is a beautiful story seen through the eyes of Salman’s character. Since it spans seven decades, we decided to feature five extremely different looks. Each avatar will reflect the character’s transition; reflect on his life and times. We start shooting in June but prep kicks off on February 6.” confirmed Ali.
Earlier, Ali revealed to a leading daily about Salman's look saying, "We have just locked the script. The idea is to make Salman look the way he appeared in Maine Pyar Kiya — from the time he began his career to now. But we will know how much we can achieve only after our complete research is done."
Bharat is a film inspired by Korean film An Ode to My Father, which showcased the journey of a veteran war official in the span of more than 70 years.
The film is reportedly going to hit the floors in June and will hit the screens in Eid, 2019.
On a related note, Salman is currently busy shooting for Remo D'Souza's 'Race 3' which has an ensemble star cast. It features Jacqueline Fernandez, Anil Kapoor, Daisy Shah, Bobby Deol, Saqib Saleem and Freddy Daruwala.
