Saif Ali Khan’s stock market-themed thriller ‘Baazaar’ finally gets a release date
Handsome hunk Saif Ali Khan has been charming the fans with a variety of roles lately. After playing a dedicated police officer Sartaj Singh in Netflix’s Sacred Games, Saif excited the audience with his pictures as Naga Sadhu from the upcoming film Hunter and now, fans have one more reason to cherish. Saif Ali Khan’s stock market themed thriller, Baazaar, has finally got a release date.
Saif Ali Khan’s fans don’t have to wait too long to see their favorite star on the silver screen again as Baazaar will hit the theaters on October 26. The producer of the film Nikkhil Advani announced the release date on Thursday on Twitter. Along with an image of the report announcing the release date, Nikkhil wrote, "“Baazaar chalu che!!!” Excited to announce our next in born, in bred and in house chokras step into the world. @gauravvkchawla you’re up!!! @EmmayEntertain @monishaadvani @madhubhojwani @KytaProductions @Viacom18Movies @BaazaarFilm #Oct26"
Earlier, the makers of the film had unveiled the poster of the film on his Twitter handle. The caption along with the poster read, "Money is everything and everything is money in this Baazaar! Here's the official poster of @Baazaarfilm #BaazaarPoster (Yahan paisa bhagwaan nahin, par bhagwaan se kam bhi nahin)"
In the picture Saif is looking serious and stylish. He is seen sporting few grey streaks and donning formal attire. The poster has a caption that reads, “Yahaan Paisa Bhagwan Nahi, Par Bhagwan Se Bhi Kam Nahin”. The movie is touted to be a thriller based on the stock market. Late Vinod Mehra's son Rohan will be making his acting debut with the film.
Saif has been treating the fans with roles they would have never imagined him playing. Saif confessed having an urge to continuously experiment with his roles and not play safe. But he admitted that the average or low box office collections often make him question his own decisions. "There have been times when I felt that the audience might not want to watch me anymore. But as an actor, I don’t like to do similar-looking roles or films; I’m drawn towards darker, edgier scripts," reported DNA.
Directed by Gauravv K Chawla, Baazaar also stars debutant Rohan Mehra, Chitrangada Singh and Radhika Apte.
