After Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) suggested some cuts in actor Saif Ali Khan starrer Kaalakaandi, the release date of the film has been delayed. The film was earlier scheduled for September 8 release but in order to complete the censor process, the makers have decided to delay the release date. Kaalakaandi marks the directorial debut of Delhi Belly writer Akshat Verma. The teaser of the film was unveiled recently in which the actor was seen in different avatar.
A new date is yet to be announced.
Produced by Cinestaan Film Company and Ashi Dua Sara of Flying Unicorn, the film also stars Deepak Dobriyal, Vijay Raz, Kunal Roy Kapoor, Sobhita Dhulipala, Akshay Oberoi, Isha Talwar, Shenaz Treasury, Shivam Patil, Amyra Dastur and Neil.
On a related note, Saif recently returned from Switzerland after spending quality time with his wife Kareena Kapoor Khan and son Taimur Ali Khan. He celebrated his birthday yesterday. On the professional front, the actor will also be seen in the Hindi remake of Hollywood film Chef.
