Saif Ali Khan and Alaia F’s Jawaani Jaaneman to release November 29, 2019
Saif Ali Khan and Alaia F’s upcoming Bollywood film Jawaani Jaaneman gets a release date. The film will mark the debut of Pooja Bedi’s daughter, Alaia, and will hit the theaters on November 29 this year. The shooting of the film has not started yet but Saif Ali Khan has already started his preparations of the film. Jawaani Jaaneman has created quite a buzz among the audience since the film will also mark the reunion of Saif Ali Khan and Tabu after a long time.
Bollywood critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh announced the news through his social media and wrote, “Release date finalized... #JawaaniJaaneman to release on 29 Nov 2019... Stars Saif Ali Khan, Tabu and Alaia F [Pooja Bedi’s daughter]... Directed by Nitin Kakkar... Produced by Black Knight Films, Northern Lights Films and Pooja Entertainment...Starts June 2019 in #London.”
Jawaani Jaaneman is a coming-of-age story of a 40-year-old man and revolves around his relationship with his daughter. Alaia will be seen playing the onscreen daughter of Saif Ali Khan. Earlier, Saif told a leading daily, "She has all the qualities we were looking for in the young lead, the charm and energy to take the film to the level that it needs. We are lucky to have found our perfect cast and I'm looking forward to work with Alaia." It is also said that the makers zeroed in on Alaia after screen-testing 50 aspirants.
Earlier, rumours were doing rounds that Sara Ali Khan was supposed to star in the film but things didn’t work out. To this Saif revealed, " I would have loved to have Sara in Jawaani Jaaneman but that would have meant her choosing this film over everything else she's doing because we wanted this film to be the first film of the person we cast. I feel Sara's career graph and trajectory is in a good place and in a way I'm happy it's separate from mine at the moment. We are very excited to launch Alaia with this film and she is perfect for the part."
