Diving into an explored genre, director Amole Gupte has come up with a kids’ adventure film titled Sniff. The special screening of the film was held in Mumbai on Wednesday night and, several celebs attended the event in style. Being produced under the banner of Eros International’s Trinity Pictures, the movie follows the story about an eight-year-old Sikh boy Khushmeet Gill, who acquires a heightened sense of smell and turns a spy.
Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar made a striking appearance with wife Anjali Tendulkar. Yummy mummy Shilpa Shetty was clicked with husband Raj Kundra and son Viaan.
With an eye for talent, Amole Gupte, known for films such as Taare Zameen Par and Stanley Ka Dabba, has roped in close friend Vishal Bhardwaj to sing for his highly-anticipated film. Both know each other since Machis and have worked together in Kaminey, for which the former played a villain. Aware of Vishal’s musical and vocal skills, Amole insisted that he sing for his film and his friend gladly obliged.
In a recent interview with Times of India, the filmmaker said, “I am just an observer, who is guided by them. See, children are not aware of their importance. My own son (Partho) was in two of my films. He won many awards, including the National Award. However, it did not show in his demeanour because we understand that the process is bigger than fame and glamour”.
Sniff is an upcoming 2017 Indian Bollywood first kid's action adventure film, written and directed by Amole Gupte, under the banner of Trinity Pictures. Khushmeet Gill will be seen playing lead role in the film.
