Last year, Sunny Deol and Dimple Kapadia made headlines for their leaked picture showing them talking hand in hand. The rumoured couple was spotted in London, which triggered their romance rumours once again after more than two decades. But reports have it that Sunny Deol and Dimple Kapadia are once again coming together for a film after 24 years. Dimple and Sunny will be sharing screen space in Karan Kapadia’s Bollywood debut film.
Producer Tony D’Souza told Mumbai Mirror, “It's very different from his current lot of films, including Poster Boys and Yamla Pagla Deewana 3 and takes him back to the action genre."
Karan Kapadia’s Bollywood debut will be directed by Behzad Khambata. The Poster Boys actor will start filming from March and the entire shoot will be wrapped up by April end.
Last year in September, pictures of Dimple Kapadia and Sunny Deol holding hands became the talk of the town. Back in the 90s, Sunny and Dimple co-starred in films like Manzil, Arjun and Narsimha. It was believed that Dimple Kapadia, who was married to Rajesh Khanna, was dating Sunny Deol. None of them revealed any details about their alleged romance.
Karan Kapadia is Dimple Kapadi’s sister Simple’s son. The actor lost a lot of weight for his Bollywood debut. He is also trained in martial arts for six months in Bangkok. He was 16-year-old when he assisted the direction of Rahul Dholakia’s Society.
Karan’s cousins Twinkle and Rinke Khanna also tried their luck in Bollywood but failed to make an impact in the industry. Twinkle has now turned to writing books and has become a bestselling author. She has also bankrolled her husband’s upcoming film Padman.
