After Satyameva Jayate, John Abraham is all set to entertain the audience with his brand new avatars in his upcoming spy thriller Romeo Akbar Walter. The trailer of the movie, which also features Sikander Kher, Jackie Shroff and Mouni Roy, has released and we have to admit that it looks like an edgy thriller with a proper dose of entertainment. Rome Akbar Walter will be releasing on April 5, 2019.

Viacom18 Motion Pictures took to Instagram to share the trailer. The caption of the video says, ''धर्मो रक्षति रक्षितः His dharma was to protect his nation against all evils and enemies. He did so, at the cost of his identity. Here’s presenting the trailer of ‘Romeo. Akbar. Walter’. In cinemas on 5th April. #RAWTrailer – link in the bio''

Romeo Akbar Walter, set against the backdrop of Indo-Pakistan War of 1971 has been directed by Robbie Grewal. Earlier, the makers dropped teaser of RAW in which we saw John sporting different looks. The actor has so far shared three posters of the film. While in one, we see John in '70-style hairdo', whereas in another poster, John looks dapper in a suit along with a moustache. Have a look:

Earlier, in an interview, Mouni Roy, who made her debut with Akshay Kumar starrer Gold, narrated how she bagged the role in RAW. “I’ve given auditions in the past, but this film just happened. I went for a meeting and the team instantly felt I suited the character as I have an old-world vibe. They offered me the role and I immediately said ‘yes’. I wasn’t happy with the other offers I got around the time but I am excited about this film,'' she said.

For unversed, Sushant Singh Rajput was to play the lead role in RAW, however, he left the project due to ''unavoidable circumstances". After quitting the film, Sushant had said in a statement, "Unfortunately due to changes in my prior commitments, I will not be able to be a part of 'Romeo Akbar Walter'. I wanted to be a part of the project because I love the story and I believe it's a story which must be told however due to unavoidable circumstances I won't be a part of this journey. I wish the producers all the very best for the project."

John Abraham's last two films did exceptionally well at the box office. Parmanu, which released after much delay and Satyameva Jayate, co-starring Manoj Bajpayee set the cash registers ringing. On a related note, John will also be seen in Batla House, which will release this year.
