PVR Cinemas lets go of convenience fee for tickets of ‘Rock On 2’

In a revolutionary move, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday announced de-monetisation of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 denomination notes. Keeping up with the announcement, PVR Cinemas has now announced that it will not charge convenience fee from customers using credit or debit card for the upcoming movie ‘Rock On 2’.

Actor Farhan Akhtar has appreciated the movie and took to Twitter to share news with fans.

Here is his tweet:

The "Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara" star also thanked the PVR team for recognising the issue ahead of the film's release. It is slated to hit the screens on Friday.

"Thank you PVR team for recognising the issue and making it easy and efficient for the audience to enjoy our film 'Rock On 2' at no extra cost," he added.

The film is the second instalment of the "Rock On!!" franchise and also stars Arjun Rampal, Purab Kohli, Prachi Desai and Shraddha Kapoor.
