New Delhi: Rishi Kapoor created a buzz few days back when he ranted against Congress on Twitter. The veteran actor slammed the national party for naming country’s assets after their ancestors saying ‘baap ka maal samjha rakha tha kya”.

Though, it seems Congress supporters were more hurt with Rishi’s words than the party members themselves. So, they named a sulabh toilet after him in Allahabad, in a revengeful act.

Anybody would have got furious seeing his name associated with such thing but we know Rishi Kapoor is just not anybody.

The actor, who lately impressed us in Kapoor and Sons, just laughed on the issue and said that he is thrilled to be associated with PM Modi’s pet project.

In an interview to a leading daily, he said:

“I am thrilled. At least I will be of some use to someone. These people (Congress loyalists) are of no use to anyone. I take pride in the fact that the Sulabh Shauchalaya is named after me because it is the Prime Minister’s pet project right now.”

The veteran star, further, added on a serious note that such things don’t affect him and he is just against the misuse of family name in the political circle. He added

“I have every right to voice my opinion. I know I have ruffled a few Congress feathers but they have misunderstood my intentions”

He indeed made a valid point. What do you think?
