Veteran actress Reema Lagoo, who was seen playing the role of Dayavanti Mehta in Naamkaran died of cardiac arrest. Her onscreen son from the show Viraf Phiroz Patel has shared an emotional post on social networking site Facebook.
The actor shared a picture with Reema and talked about their off-screen bond. Viraf also wrote about his last fight with the actress. He stated that he was lucky as he got the chance to work with her and also called himself her last onscreen son.

The post indicates that Viraf was close to the veteran actress. Both Viraf and Reema’s bond was liked by the audience on the TV show.
Many celebrities from Bollywood and TV expressed their grief over Reema Lagoo’s death. Alok Nath, who worked with Reema in many films called it a terrible news and stated that it was wonderful to work with her. Alok and Reema worked together in films like Hum Saath Saath Hai, Hum Aapke Hain Koun and Maine Pyaar Kiya.
Reema was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital late last night after she complained of chest pain. The actress has also worked in Marathi films. She did TV shows like Tu Tu Main Main and Shrimaan Shrimati.
