Veteran actress Reema Lagoo, who was playing the role of Dayavanti Mehta died of cardiac arrest yesterday. Reports suggested that the lady celebrated the 200 episodes of the show and then left the sets due to her chest pain.
If reports are to be believed, Reema wrapped up the shoot by 7 PM but was on the sets to celebrate the 200 episodes of the show. After she suffered from cardiac ingestion, she left from there and informed the production house that she will be late tomorrow.
But, nobody knew that they will not get the chance to see the actress again.
The news of Reema’s death came as a shock to her celebrities from film and TV industry. Renuka Shahane, who played Reema’s daughter in Hum Aapke Hai Koun also shared an emotional post on social media.
Her onscreen son Viraf patel also shared a heartfelt letter on social media calling himself her last onscreen son. Alok Nath, who worked with Reema in many films called it a terrible news and stated that it was wonderful to work with her.
Reema was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital late last night after she complained of chest pain. The actress has also worked in Marathi films. She did TV shows like Tu Tu Main Main and Shrimaan Shrimati.
