Telly actress Jigyasa Singh, who is popular for playing Thapki in one of the popular shows ‘Thapki Pyaar Ki’, has said that she was not reluctant to play the role of mother in the show, and has taken inspiration from her mother. The popular show has taken a leap of seven years and is now focuses on Thapki’s children.
The actress was happy and privileged to play the role of a mother, and said that she has taken inspiration from her mother and through her acting she will show her gratitude towards her. Jigyasa added that playing a mature role on screen will polish her acting skills and will help her to explore her versatility.
Jigyasa said, “Words are not enough to express the unconditional love that a mother showers on her children. So, when it was my turn to portray the role of a mother, I had only one inspiration in my mind - my mom.”
‘Thapki Pyaar Ki’ has taken a leap of seven years and now portrays Thapki and her husband Bihaan living separately. Thapki is a crime reporter and mother of twins Bani and Tina. As Bihaan and Thapki are separated, Bani lives with her mother whereas Tina lives with her father.
It is yet to be seen if Bihaan and Thapki reunite in coming episodes.
