Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who is one of the versatile actors of the industry, recently said that he wanted to open chain of restaurants. He also revealed the reason behind naming his production house Red chillies saying that if film making fails then he will try his hand at this new business.
While talking to a leading daily, SRK said that he wants to be equal to women and has genuine interest in cooking. The actor added on a lighter note that if he opens chains of restaurants, he will earn good and it will be very beneficial for his business. He revealed that actress Juhi Chawla once asked him about the reason of naming his company Red Chillies to which King Khan replied, if film making doesn’t work in his favour then he will open restaurant by the same name.
Shah Rukh said, “Just in case film – making fails, I’ll open a restaurant by the same name. Red Chillies Restaurant toh chalega hi.”
Well, it is yet to be seen if Shah Rukh is serious. But, movie buffs will love to visit King Khan’s restaurant.
On a related note, Shah Rukh was last seen in ‘Raees’ opposite Pakistani actress Mahira Khan. The movie did wonders at the box office and also entered the coveted Rs 100 crore club. He will next be seen in Imtiaz Ali’s film opposite Anushka Sharma.
