Actor Ranveer Singh, after locking horns with Shah Rukh Khan in 2015, will reportedly have a big box office clash with superstar Salman Khan on Christmas next year.
As per media reports, Ranveer’s ‘Padmavati’ and Salman’s ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ will hit the silver screen at the same time -December 2017.
Interestingly, Ranveer Singh faced clash with Shah Rukh Khan on last Christmas when his periodical drama ‘Bajirao Mastani’ had released along with 50-year-old superstar’s ‘Dilwale’.
Though, RV had, unexpectedly, won that battle with SRK on box office. The movie raked in big moolah at box office and the actor received widespread appreciation for his portrayal of Bajirao.
The battle will be more fierce this time as Salman is a box office superstar having ten Rs 100 cr club movie under his belt.

While Ranveer is an emerging superstar, Salman, on the other hand, enjoys the status of huge superstar with a massive fan following. His Eid release ‘Sultan’ had a tremendous run at the box office. The movie broke many records and added more glory to Salman’s stardom.
Now it will be interesting to see how Ranveer will fare at the box office opposite Salman Khan.
‘Padmavati’, the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial, is a periodical drama on the life of Queen Padmvati. On the other hand, Sallu’s movie is the sequel of his 2012 hit movie – ‘Ek Tha Tiger’.
At present, Salman is shooting for ‘Tubelight’ while Ranveer Singh is gearing up for the release of his forthcoming movie ‘Befikre’ opposite Vani Kapoor. The YRF film will hit the screens on December 09, 2016.
