Actor Ranveer Singh has finally shunned all the reports of rifts with Deepika Padukone and referred them to be baseless rumours.
It was reported that Ranveer-Deepika’s relationship is going through a rough patch and their upcoming movie ‘Padmavati’ was one of the reasons.
The media reports suggested that the actor had issues with difference in his payscale to that with his lady love who was said to be paid much more than Ranveer.
Besides, Shahid’s inclusion in the movie and his role getting extended was said to have added fuel to the fire.
But, Ranveer has put all the speculations to rest and told an entertainment portal, “These are the rubbish kind of stories that I have also read about my rifts with Deepika, Mr Bhansali and Shahid”.
Apparently, Ranveer was quite insecure with Shahid playing Deepika’s husband in ‘Padmavati’.
RV will be seen playing the lead antagonist Allauddin Khilji in the periodical drama, whereas Sasha will be in the shoes of Raja Rawal Ratan.
In fact, a severe ego clash between Ranveer and Shahid was also rumoured. But the ‘Befikre’ actor cleared the air and avowed that he is excited to work with Shahid Kapoor in ‘Padmavati’.
He also stated that Shahid Kapoor is a great actor and will surely add value to ‘Padmavati’.
Besides, Ranveer also confirmed the reports of the two actors gelling up at the gym.
A Sanjay Leela Bhansali production, ‘Padmavati’ has begun shooting on Tuesday and is rumoured to release in December 2017.
