Ranveer Singh is back in the bay. The actor returned from Sri Lanka after holidaying with wife Deepika Padukone. The couple was all smiles for shutterbugs at the Mumbai airport. On the professional front, Ranveer has a long list of films in the pipeline and this year is going to be a hectic one for the actor. And, we got a glimpse of it when soon after landing in the city, Ranveer started fulfilling his professional commitments. The actor was spotted at a multiplex in Bandra, however, the bizarre thing was that he was found covering his face. Yes, with black sunglasses on and face partially covered, the actor went to watch his latest movie. Reports say that Ranveer hid his face to enjoy the live reaction of audience watching Simmba. Ranveer is currently basking in the success of his latest movie Simmba. The Rohit Shetty directorial is roaring at the box office. The cop drama, co-starring Sara Ali Khan is on its way to enter the coveted Rs 200 crore. This is Ranveer's fourth film that has minted over Rs 100 crores. Reacting on the success, he had said, ''I had a proper struggle period of three and half years, so today when opportunities come my way, I value them tremendously. I never lose sight because I have a vivid memory of the times when I had none of this''.

Ranveer is currently gearing up for the release of his next movie, Gully Boy, directed by Zoya Akhtar. The movie, co-starring Alia Bhatt and Kalki Koechlin is based on street rappers of Mumbai. Makers of Gully Boy recently dropped a short video announcing the trailer release date. The video begins with the sound of beatboxing and Ranveer rapping the lyrics telling us what 'Asli Hip Hop' is. Several Bollywood celebrities such as Onir, Hansal Mehta, Karan Johar, Arjun Kapoor among others took to social media to shower praises on the Gully Boy team.
Gully Boy is inspired by rapper Vivian Fernandes a.k.a Divine. He shot to fame with song Yeh Hai Bombay, which went viral in 2014. Talking about the film, he had earlier told Hindustan Times,''Our story will finally be on the big screen, and Ranveer Singh is the right guy to do it. I have hung out with him a couple of times, chilled out. He’s a great and talented guy, best choice for this film''.
