Bollywood stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt have been trending on the internet today for their upcoming film Gully Boy. The film’s trailer hit the internet today and since then, there has been much buzz everywhere. The trailer has got everyone talking and, Twitterati can’t stop praising Ranveer and Alia, who have been paired up for the first time.

Gully Boy is loosely based on the life of Indian rapper Divine, who is known for songs like Meri Gully and Roots. Alia and Kalki Koechlin, play contrasting love interests. While Alia will be seen playing a lively young girl from a background similar to that of Ranveer Sing's character in the film. Kalki will portray the success he aspires to.
Speaking about Gully Boy, Ranveer Singh in an earlier interview with IANS said, "It is the story which represents Mumbai in its true sense and the city is my home town, these are my people, this is my language so this is the story I am really attached to. It's an underdog story about a kid who broke through from great adversity in life to make it as a recording artist”.
Gully Boy is slated to release on February 14.
