With some new pairs and unexpected debuts, the ongoing season of ‘Koffee with Karan’ is leaving audiences wanting for more with each passing episode. After the unusual pair of Ranveer and Ranbir, leading ladies Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma will have a ‘Koffee’ date with the ace director.
Katrina and Anushka share a good rapport from the days of ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’. Both the ladies worked together in the flick opposite superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Interestingly, Anushka is great friends with Katrina’s ex-flame Ranbir Kapoor. The former also gave a recent hit ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ with the actor. With Karan Johar holding the gun, we can expect bullets of questions fired on the charismatic beauties.
It was speculated earlier that Katrina had turned down KJo’s offer to appear on the show as she wanted to protect the details of her break-up with the Kapoor clan. However, the ‘Fitoor’ actress shared a picture on Facebook yesterday that hinted her appearance on the show.
Katrina posted an old picture with Anushka and wrote, “Anushka Sharma and me always seem to have fun on couches together.”
Now, with the pretty ladies on the couch with Ranbir as their common link, one cannot rule out the possibility of some shocking revelations stumbling out of the closet.
Katrina was last seen in ‘Baar Baar Dekho’ opposite Sidharth Malhotra that doomed at the box office. She will next be seen in Anurag Basu’s directorial venture ‘Jagga Jasoos’ alongside Ranbir Kapoor. On the other hand, Anushka’s last film ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ entered the 100 crore club. The film was helmed by Karan Johar.
The next episode of the show will feature superstar Aamir Khan with his ‘Dangal’ co-stars Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra.
