Director Anurag Basu believes that actors Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif gave more to their upcoming movie ‘Jagga Jasoos’ post the break up.
He, in an interview with a leading daily recently, revealed that both the stars were more professional after the split and that everything was fine when the first shoot happened.
Interestingly when Basu started the film, Ranbir and Katrina were in a relationship but during the course the duo broke up.
And it was being speculated that the frequent delays in the shoot of Jagga Jasoos were because of the changed equation between the two actors.

However, Basu, in the interview, revealed that it was him who kept on pushing the shoot. He said that it was his decision to delay the film because he earned a lot of money from last directorial ‘Barfi’ and wanted to enjoy that and spend quality time with family.
Further, Basu said that he wanted to release his film after Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, so he decided to take a break. Both the actors supported him in the decision and gave dates to him in May and August.
At present, Anurag Basu is busy judging a kids’ dance show on television. He is expected to begin the shooting for his next project, the sequel to ‘Life... In A Metro’ very soon.
In between, he will manage time to shoot the remaining parts of ‘Jagga Jasoos’. The movie is slated to hit the screens in April 2017.
