Ranbir Kapoor to romance Manoj Bajpayee’s wife Neha in Sanjay Dutt’s biopic

Since the announcement of Sanjay Dutt’s biopic, there has been a buzz across the industry. In the biopic, Ranbir Kapoor is slated to play the role of Sanjay Dutt and now, the actress has also been finalized. Yes, Ranbir will be seen romancing Manoj Bajpayee’s wife Neha in the film.

Neha, according to reports, will be portraying the role of Sanjay’s wife Maanayata Dutt in the biopic. Neha was last seen in Sanjay Gupta’s Acid Factory.

Neha stepped her foot into Bollywood in the year 1998 with the film Kareeb opposite Bobby Deol. After this she was seen in many films such as Hogi Pyaar ki Jeet, Fiza, Muskaan, Koi Mere Dil Main Hai and so on. After getting married to Manoj, Neha concentrated more on family life and less on films.

The entire casting of the biopic has been almost finalized by director Rajkumar Hirani, according to reports. Apart from Ranbir, the movie will feature Anuskha Sharma as a journalist and Paresh Rawal as Sanjay’s father Sunil Dutt. Sonam Kapoor will portray the role of an actress to whom Sanjay Dutt was linked in 80s and 90s.

With biopics being the current favourite genre of Bollywood filmmakers, a movie on Sanjay Dutt’s life will be a great opportunity to know the actor up-close and personal.
