Post Ranbir Kapoor’s break-up with Katrina Kaif early this, the actor’s love life has been under constant scrutiny of the filmibugs. The actor has been linked with several divas in the past few months, including the Delhi-based girl Bharti Malhotra.
The moment reports of Ranbir dating Bharti surfaced on the internet, his ‘dilliwali’ girlfriend became an instant talk of town. It was also reported that Bharti is a dear friend of Ranbir’s sister Riddhima who somehow played the cupid between the rumoured couple. Though the Delhi girl dismissed the reports vehemently, Kapoor never spoke a thing about it.
But now, Ranbir Kapoor has finally broken his silence about Bharti and said that the media had linked him with a girl he had never met.
The ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ actor, who was a guest on Neha Dhupia’s celeb chat show #nofilterneha, candid about his love life.
While talking about his rumoured link ups, Ranbir said,
“Six months back they (media) linked me with this girl called Bharti Malhotra I have no idea about, I have never met…They wrote an article about that and went to interview her..she was seeing someone and said ‘how can you link me up with him when I am not even his fan’, that was a completely baseless story”.
Earlier, Bharti Malhotra too had quashed the reports saying that she doesn’t know RK personally and is clueless about how the rumours started.
Apart from Bharti, Ranbir’s name has been linked up with Kangana Ranaut and Jacqueline Fernandez as well. However, those alleged link-ups turned out to be rumours as well.
On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor is currently enjoying the success of his last release ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ which is doing wonders at the box office.
He is also busy with Anurag Basu’s much delayed ‘Jagga Jasoos’ opposite ex-flame Katrina. Interestingly, this will be the first movie of Ranbir-Katrina post their break-up. ‘Jagga Jasoos’ is touted to release in April 2017.
