Ever since Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) has threatened to ban Pakistani actors in India, a lot is being said and written about it.
The MNS has threatened ace filmmaker Karan Johar that they won’t let his upcoming directorial ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ release in Maharashtra because it features Pakistani actors Fawad Khan and Imran Abbas.
KJo has been fighting against the backlash saying that banning Pakistani actors is not a solution to this enmity and its better to leave the entertainment industry alone.
It was quite obvious that the lead actor of the movie Ranbir Kapoor will be questioned about the controversy.
But much too everyone’s surprise, Ranbir chose to stay mum over it.
The actor said that he would prefer talking about his upcoming movie ADHM rather than on other rumours or controversies.
Not just ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Raees’ too have been embroiled in the controversy as it features Mahira Khan in the lead.
This ban on Pakistani actors in India was initiated by MNS post the Uri attacks that killed 18 Indian soldiers.
Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ also features Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead. The movie is scheduled to release on October 28 this year.
