Ranbir Kapoor looks like a mirror image of Sanjay Dutt in this new poster
Filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani is making it difficult for the Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt fans to wait for the much in buzz biopic ‘Sanjay’. The man has shared a new poster of the flick and we can’t say if it is Ranbir Kapoor or the real man himself, Sanjay Dutt.
The new poster, shared by Rajkumar Hirani on his Twitter this Monday morning, shows Ranbir Kapoor in a rough-tough look replicating Sanjay Dutt when he completed his prison sentence and walked out of Pune’s Yerwada Jail in 2016. It won’t be wrong to say that at a first glance, nobody can figure out if he is Sanjay Dutt himself or Ranbir Kapoor as Sanjay Dutt.
Keeping up with his promise, Rajkumar Hirani shared the poster and wrote, “Ranbir as #Sanju! When he came out of Jail in 2016. Watch his complete story on June 29. #RanbirKapoor #RajkumarHiraniFilms @VVCFilms @foxstarhindi.”
Just yesterday, the filmmaker promised all the Dutt-Kapoor fans saying, “Starting tomorrow, I’m going to put out posters and production stills of Ranbir as Sanju. A new one every day. Hope you like it. #RanbirKapoor #RajkumarHiraniFilms @VVCFilms @foxstarhindi.”
Talking about his favorite character of Sanjay Dutt that Ranbir loved playing, the actor revealed that Munna Bhai would be his personal favorite. At the teaser launch, he said, “It was difficult to play the young Sanju. There were more faces we had to show; the drugs and his mother’s loss. The fun was the Munna Bhai phase.”
Alongside Ranbir Kapoor, the film also stars Anushka Sharma, Sonam Kapoor Paresh Rawal, Dia Mirza, Karishma Tanna, Manisha Koirala, Vicky Kaushal and Boman Irani in important roles. It would be interesting to see the next poster of the Sayjay Dutt biopic tomorrow.
Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the flick will hit the theaters on June 29th.
