Filmmaker Rakesh Roshan has given a befitting reply to Kangana Ranaut’s remark about him protecting his 43 year old son Hrithik, saying whether he is 43 or 83 years old, his son will always be a child for him.
Senior Roshan’s statement came after Kangana took a jibe at Hrithik after his father defended the superstar in his controversy with the ‘Queen’ actress.
Kangana, who is known for not mincing her words, quizzed Hrithik saying why does the ‘Krrish’ star need his father every time to rescue him, and why he can’t handle his controversies by himself.
To this Rakesh Roshan has hit back to Ranaut saying he was still a working father and plays an active role in his son’s life.
The filmmaker further added that he was proud of the fact that he stands by son Hrithik’s side, even if it is unacceptable by some people.
Papa Roshan has lately been a great source of support for Hrithik, who has been through several personal and professional setbacks, in the recent past.
Defending his son, Rakesh said, “Hrithik has not gone through any hard times.Ups and downs are a part of every person’s life. Whatever he is doing, he is doing with a smile”.
Earlier, the ‘Kaabil’ producer had praised his son for maintaining a calm stand despite Kangana’s endeavours to tarnish his image by spreading lies against him. Senior Roshan also made a point saying that people are still not aware of the truth behind Kangana-Hrithik’s ugly tussle, and that when the ‘Mohenjo Daro’ will unveil the reality, it will leave everyone horrified.
The nasty feud between Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut came into limelight early this year after the actress allegedly referred her ‘Krrish 3’ co-star as her ‘silly ex’.
This didn’t go down well with Hrithik who in turn stated that he would rather date a pope than having an affair with the ‘Revolver Rani’ actress.
Well, these controversial statements by the rumoured ex-lovers did open a book of worm and the two slapped each other with legal notices.
While Kangana has claimed to be dating Hrithik once, Duggu has been denying all the allegations straight away.
As per the media reports, Roshan junior is also planning to go ahead with the legal battle in order to prove his innocence. In fact, he has reportedly hired a team of lawyers to look after the case.
