Rajkummar Rao’s Omerta release pushed further, claims girlfriend Patralekhaa
Rajkummar Rao’s highly-awaited film Omerta, helmed by Hansal Mehta, has been pushed further from its scheduled release date of April 20. While there has been no official confirmation about the same, the actor’s girlfriend and actress Patralekhaa broke the news in an interview to a leading daily. She was in Delhi to promote her upcoming film Nanu Ki Jaanu, which is also slated to release on April 20.
When she questioned what she thought about the clash between her film and her boyfriend’s Omerta, she said that the clash isn’t happening anymore. Omerta has been rescheduled. She also said that it is good for her film as it won’t have to compete with a strong film like Omerta. When she was asked about the reason behind this postponement, she didn’t give a clear answer.
April 20 was expected to see loads of Hindi films, as four movies were coming together. Omerta, Nanu Ki Jaanu, Daas Dev and Beyond The Clouds were scheduled to release this Friday. Daas Dev has been delayed further and now Omerta’s release is also not confirmed. This might come as a big relief for Nanu Ki Jaanu and Beyond The Clouds.
