Rajkummar Rao, Mouni Roy’s Made In China gets a release date
Rajkummar Rao and Mouni Roy’s film Made In China will release on 30st August 2019, just a day before the actor’s birthday. The film, directed by Mikhil Musale, was earlier slated to release on August 15th on the occasion of Independence Day. The reason behind pushing the release date further is not yet known. Interestingly, Rajkummar Rao’s sleeper hit Stree also released on August 31st, 2018.
With Made In China, Mouni Roy will be romancing Rajkummar Rao for the first time on the silverscreen. She is playing Rajkummar’s wife in the film while the actor is feature as a struggling Gujarati businessman.
Made in China will be directed by Mikhil Musale and produced by Dinesh Vijan under the banner of Maddock Films. It also marks his directorial debut in Bollywood. His 2016 thriller drama Wrong Side Raju won the National Award for Best Feature Film in Gujarati.
On a related note, Rajkummar Rao will also feature in Sonam Kapoor and Anil Kapoor starrer Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga. He will be playing Sonam’s love interest in the film. It also stars Juhi Chawla in an important role. The film will release on February 1, 2019.
