Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has finally made up for the box office failure of ‘Fan’ as his latest release ‘Raees’ has made it to the coveted 100 crore club. SRK starrer has become the first film of 2017 to enter the club.

After the weekend, the collection of the movie reached Rs 93.24 crore but on its 6th day ‘Raees’ minted Rs 12.90 crore making Rs 106.14 crore its total box office collection till now. Now, all SRK fans can rejoice as the superstar has finally emerged as a winner at the box office.

On Monday, the cast of the flick also celebrated its success. Actress Sunny Leone who performed the popular track ‘Laila Main Laila’ was also spotted enjoying the party. The makers of ‘Raees’ are very happy with the flick’s business.

Actor Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Kaabil’ that clashed with ‘Raees’ has fetched Rs 79.64 crore till now. Its journey to reach the big number is definitely not going to be easy.

‘Raees’ is Shah Rukh’s seventh film that has crossed Rs 100 crore mark after ‘Chennai Express’, ‘Happy New Year’, ‘Dilwale’, ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’, ‘RA.One’ and ‘Don 2’.

 

Directed by Rahul Dholakia, ‘Raees’ received a grand opening of Rs 20.42 crore and after that it was unstoppable.

Shah Rukh played the role of a gangster in the film. Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Pakistani actress Mahira Khan were also seen in prominent roles.
