New Delhi: Actress Radhika Apte once again showed how perfectly she knows her job with her latest release ‘Phobia’. The psycho-thriller has scared people and they can’t stop singing praises for the 30-year-old actress.

Before, ‘Phobia’, she was seen in yet another thriller ‘Badlapur’ which starred Varun Dhawan in the lead. Radhika had given a terrific performance in this one too.

Post ‘Badlapur’, it is obvious that Radhika would have been offered meaty roles but that was not the case. While speaking to a leading daily, Radhika revealed that she was offered sex comedies after that.

Radhika said,

“Sex comedies! That's what they offered me. I could never understand why would I be offered those. Just because I stripped in the film? It was quite weird.”

It is really weird!

But, we think Radhika chose her films wisely post that as it is evident from ‘Phobia’.

‘Phobia’, directed by Pavan Kirpalan according to Radhika is a film about day to day life but hasn’t grabbed attention. She said,

“It's a subject that we deal with in our day to day life but something that isn't given too much importance.”

While promoting ‘Phobia’, she also said that she wishes the film changes people’s perspective towards horror and thriller movies made in India.

When asked why is Radhika sticking to only thriller movies, ‘Phobia’ being a third after ‘Badlpaur’ and ‘Ahalya’; she said she doesn’t have the fear of being type-casted. Radhika told,

“It's all about a good script really. Why wouldn't I do a film like Badlapur? Why wouldn't I do a film like Ahalya?”
