After a short pre-trailer video showcasing three shades of Alia in form of posters, the much awaited trailer of Dharma Productions Raazi dropped on the online platform this morning.
Alia, who had earlier wooed fans in Highway and Udta Punjab, is once again all set to charm audiences with her onscreen character named 'Sehmat'.
The trailer of Raazi kick-started showcasing the tense situation between India and Pakistan. Alia who is portraying the character of Sehmat in Raazi, is an obedient daughter and wife, who later turn a fearless spy. Alia, who is an Indian in the film was asked to marry a Pakistani officer to serve for her nation. Following the instructions of her father she moved to Pakistan and acts as an eyes and ears of India staying in Pakistan.
Actor Vicky Kaushal has portrayed a Pakistani officer and Alia's husband character in the film. Meanwhile, Alia, who has essayed the character of a fearless spy in the film is among those who can do anything for their nation. Raazi is a story of a pride, honour and valour of the nation and we are very much sure that Alia will do complete justice to her character.
Through Raazi, Meghna Gulzar has tried to showcase the sacrifices of one such unsung hero, who would even not hesitate to die for the nation.
