Raazi new poster: Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal all set for an ‘incredible story’
Raazi new poster featuring Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal and others, is out now. The film is a thriller based on Harinder Sikka’s novel ‘Calling Sehmat’. Vicky Kaushal will also be seen opposite Alia Bhatt in an important role. It is a story of a Kashmiri girl who gets married to a Pakistani officer and spies for Indian intelligence agency. Raazi’s shooting has taken place in various places across the country. Alia Bhatt kept sharing the picturesque beauty of Kashmir and the pictures from the shoot on her social media.
Taking to her Twitter handle, Alia Bhatt shared Raazi new poster. “An incredible TRUE STORY! #Raazi11thMay”, the actress tweeted.
Talking about the helmer of Raazi, Meghna Gulzar has earlier impressed the audience with Talvar and Filhaal. She will be working with Bollywood actors Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal for the first time. Major portions of the film was shot in the picturesque landscape of Kashmir, where the film is based. Raazi is based on Harinder Sikka's novel Calling Sehmat.
Revealing her parents' reaction, Alia in an interview to a leading daily said: ''My parents have been very involved with 'Raazi'. My mother (Soni Razdan) has even acted in the film. They’ve both seen the trailer. The first time my dad (Mahesh Bhatt) saw the trailer, he was sitting a little away from our dining area and watching it intently on his laptop. Suddenly, we heard a whistle. That’s how we knew he’s liked it. Though my mother has acted in the film, she had tears in her eyes when she saw the trailer. She said, ‘It’s very moving and gritty.''
Raazi will release on May 11.
