Actress Alia Bhatt and actor Vicky Kaushal starrer Raazi is receiving positive response from the cinema lovers. The movie that opened with Rs 7.5 crore, has earned Rs 6.10 cr on fifth day. The total collection of the film now stands at Rs 45.34 cr. Raazi, directed by Meghna Gulzar is based on Harinder Sikka’s novel Calling Sehmat. The box office numbers were shared by trade analyst Taran Adarsh on social media.
Taran took to micro-blogging site Twitter and wrote, “#Raazi continues its dominance... Occupancy/footfalls on Mon and Tue clearly indicates it’s poised for a FANTASTIC Week 1 total [approx ₹ 55 cr+]... Fri 7.53 cr, Sat 11.30 cr, Sun 14.11 cr, Mon 6.30 cr, Tue 6.10 cr. Total: ₹ 45.34 cr. India biz.”
The numbers are expected to grow in coming days.
Alia is praised for her acting in the movie. People are calling it her best performance till date. In Raazi, Alia played the role of a spy who was married off to a Pakistani officer to transfer some confidential information.
On a related note, the actress has wrapped up the shooting of Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy alongside Ranveer Singh. She will also be seen in Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan starrer Brahmastra.
