Actress Alia Bhatt and actor Vicky Kaushal starrer Raazi is garnering love and praises from the cinema lovers. The movie that minted Rs 7.5 crore on its opening day, has also collected good amount on Monday. The total collection of Raazi now stands at Rs 39.24 cr. Meghna Gulzar’s directorial venture earned Rs 11.30 on Saturday and Rs 14.11 cr on Sunday. It raked in Rs 6.30cr on Monday. The figures were shared by trade analyst Taran Adarsh on social media.
Taran took to micro-blogging site Twitter and wrote, “#Raazi shows EXCELLENT HOLD on Mon... Decline on Mon [vis-à-vis Fri] is a mere 16.33% - SUPERB... The film has found pan-India acceptance, which is a rarity these days... Fri 7.53 cr, Sat 11.30 cr, Sun 14.11 cr, Mon 6.30 cr. Total: ₹ 39.24 cr. India biz.”
The numbers are expected to grow in coming days.
The movie has received positive reviews. In fact, people are calling it Alia’s best performance till date. Raazi is based on Harinder Sikka’s novel Calling Sehmat. In the film, Alia played the role of a spy who was married off to a Pakistani officer to transfer some confidential information.
On a related note, Alia has also wrapped the shoot of Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy alongside Ranveer Singh.
