Raazi featuring actress Alia Bhatt and actor Vicky Kaushal is doing wonderful business at the box office. The movie that earned Rs 7.5 crore on its opening day, has witnessed 50.07% growth on Saturday. Raazi collected Rs 11.30 cr on its second day. The overall collection of the film now stands at Rs 18.83 cr. It is expected to grow in coming days. Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh shared the numbers on social media.
Taran took to micro-blogging site Twitter and wrote, “#Raazi continues its SPLENDID RUN... Witnesses 50.07% growth on Sat... The SUPER-STRONG word of mouth is translating into SUPER-SOLID biz... Expected to collect ₹ 31 cr+ in its opening weekend... Fri 7.53 cr, Sat 11.30 cr. Total: ₹ 18.83 cr. India biz.”
The film has received positive response from the critics. People are calling it Alia’s best performance. The lady is seen playing the role of a 20-year-old Kashmiri spy who was married off to a Pakistani officer for espionage. The movie directed by Meghna Gulzar is a true story based on Harinder Sikka’s recently released novel Calling Sehmat.
It seems that Raazi is going to be another hit in Alia’s kitty. On a related note, the lady will also be seen in Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boys alongside Ranveer Singh.
