The lady is currently busy with the promotions of her upcoming film Raazi and for that she reached singing reality show Rising Star 2. The dimpled beauty took to the mike to sing the first song of her film, Aye Watan along with singer Shankar Mahadevan. The patriotic song will surely make you proud of your country.
Shankar took to social networking site Instagram to share the video. He captioned it as, “Mai jahan rahoon, jaha me yaad rahe tu!Watch our amiable @aliaabhatt sing our first song from @raazihoon on #RisingStar2GrandFinale last night.”
This is known to all that Alia is a great singer. She has in fact sang some of the tracks of her own movies. It was indeed a pleasant surprise for her fans to listen to her melodious voice. Well, the trailer of Raazi was released recently and the actress is heaped with praises for her spectacular performance. Now, we are waiting for the film to hit the silver screens.
Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the movie also features Vicky Kaushal, Rajit Kapur, Shishir Sharma, Jaideep Ahlawat and Soni Razdan in crucial roles. Raazi is all set to hit the screens on May 11.
