R Madhavan, Anupam Kher stranded in Mumbai rains, post videos

Bollywood actors R Madhavan and Anupam Kher got stuck in Mumbai rains and shared videos on social media.

Mumbai saw heavy rain yesterday and many celebrities suggested people to stay safe in home but there were some stars who had to suffer a lot because of it. Veteran actor Anupam Kher got stuck in heavy rains as his car stopped working and then he had to call his friend for help. The actor shared the video on social media in which the disastrous condition of the city is visible.

Anupam took to micro-blogging site Twitter to share the video. He tweeted, “My car got stuck in heavy rains. Called a friend. He & his daughter came to my rescue. Now I am in his house. #StaySafe #HelpfulMumbai.”

In another tweet he wrote, “There is NO city in the world like #Mumbai when it comes to Human Bonding & Resilience at the time of crises. We see that again & again.”

Not only Anupam but actor R Madhavan also faced the same situation. His car broke down and the actor couldn’t stop himself from sharing the video of water-logged streets around his home. He captioned the video as, “My silly car down.. had to bail and wade home in thigh deep water.. excitement and frustration...”

Huma Qureshi also faced the same situation and she was stuck in highway for almost 3 hours. Mahesh Bhatt also tweeted on the issue.

Mumbai rains have brought the city to standstill. It has caused waterlogging which has resulted to traffic snarls.
