New Delhi: Pulkit Samrat and Shweta Rohira had shocked one and all when the news about their separation came to fore. The couple who married in November 2014 against their parents’ wish broke all ties within a year of marriage.
Since then, a lot has been written about the possible reason behind the split - the major being Pulkit’s affair with his ‘Sanam Re’ co-star Yami Gautam.
The things between the ex-couple are turning uglier with every passing day but guess what, the two controlled their emotions quite well when they recently came face to face.
The occasion was Eid and the place of encounter was Salman Khan’s home.
"Late that night, Pulkit landed up at Galaxy Apartments to wish Salman. After exchanging pleasantries with him, he struck a conversation with Randeep Hooda, who was also present there. Pulkit was taken aback to see Shweta among the other guests at Salman's house, but preferred not to react. Shweta, too, looked through him. Since there were several people around, they kept to different corners of the house. Salman realised that the two were there, but felt it was not the right time or day to say anything," a leading daily reported quoted a source.
"Pulkit is keen to prove that his relationship with Salman remains unaffected despite his differences with Shweta,” added the source.
For the uninitiated, Shweta is Salman’s rakhi sister. And it was none other than ‘bhai’ who did the kanyadaan in their wedding.
A few days ago when Salman and Shweta were spotted together at an event, the buzz was going strong that ‘bhai’ has expressed concern over her separation and questioned on why a divorce suit has not been filed yet. Besides, it was also reported that Pulkit developed closeness with Yami Gautam when Shweta suffered a miscarriage in mid 2015 and was advised bed rest.
We wonder what Pulkit and Shweta have to say on this. Hope for no more bad news.
